These chocolates are smooth and delicious, and relatively expensive. Due to a happenstance of climate I recently found that when I bit into one that appeared solid, the interior had melted. What was initially disappointment has now turned into my favorite method of consumption, and would like to share how to recreate it with you. Note: I developed this technique on the milk chocolate variety; other flavors may not work as well, if at all.

1. Decide that you want to enjoy a milk chocolate truffle.

2. Remove the truffle you want to enjoy from the bag.

I had a dream about the Model 3 this morning. Among its features were a thrust vector control rocket motor on the back, like the Batmobile meets an F-22 Raptor. This made it capable of landing vertically like the Falcon rocket. Also the rear view mirror was a frustratingly low-resolution LCD monitor that identified the year and model of each passing car, although the white text was sadly pixelated and difficult to read. The car came in a two-door coupe variant, which saved some money, but I ultimately decided we would get the sedan because they didn’t actually make the coupe version (dreamland logic).

My level of success in finding a solution is inversely proportional to the number of tabs I have open on my browser searching for the answer.

I am apparently a conservative speaker according to this article, and yes, I do not have any problem with using like as a verb or adjective. I still become irked at the inappropriate use of pronouns, particularly using either or subject or object pronouns incorrectly (with the occasional exception of using the objective first person in place of the subjective, i.e., “It’s me.”).

It was relatively painless to move from my self-hosted blog at https://blog.rosenberg-watt.com/ to the WordPress.com-hosted one here at https://philrw.wordpress.com/. All of the content is the same (with the exception of a few videos nobody ever watched, anyway), and now I don’t have to worry about uptime and such: the folks at WordPress.com will do that for me.

So the web site address is new: make a note of it. Other than that, it’s still the same old boring website. If you’re following via RSS, you may want to update your URLs.

As part of a small project at work, I get to play around with this – shall we say electrically efficient – routing hardware. My reasons for switching (including having a virtualized router that was causing me some headaches) and install notes are basically the same as his, with a couple of exceptions:

I rarely laugh out loud from pure joy, but I did watching this video, several times, in fact. Although the video is promotional and highly controlled, it reaffirms everything I’ve believed about the future of self-driving car technology, and I’m even more excited that we’re in line to purchase one of these cars.

Tesla also says they will demonstrate a coast-to-coast autonomous drive some time next year. I assume this means automatic charging, too.

Self-driving vehicles will play a crucial role in improving transportation safety and accelerating the world’s transition to a sustainable future. Full autonomy will enable a Tesla to be substantially safer than a human driver, lower the financial cost of transportation for those who own a car and provide low-cost on-demand mobility for those who do not.

Indeed…
